    Definition: Someone who provides an access point to curated information on a relevant/specific field.

    Pros
    Easy to navigate and see what the site/scholar is about.
    Information is easy to assimilate and sort through.

    Cons
    Layout, if its bad you notice it immediately but if its good its easy to read and follow the topic.
    Care should be taken not to make it too busy or difficult to follow. Some sites read like the classifieds page in a newspaper.

    Definition: A digital scholar makes use ofthe internet to share, showcase, teach and learn about the topic of interest, using varied tools and multimedia.

    What works: Functional and user friendly homepage.

    What does not work: uninteresting page cluttered homepage with text. the home page obscures expertise.

    A literate person able to showcase her identity, ideas and/or achievements through the use of modern technology and networking.

    At a glance the focus of the project is sometimes unclear
